  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting them to the management company and ownership.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts.
  • Leading quarterly meetings with the ownership group. These may be more frequent, as necessary or as agreed to.
  • Conducting an annual insurance review.
  • Supporting negotiation of new financing or refinancing of debt.
  • Understanding market plans for each community and measuring performance against those plans.
  • Facilitating a relationship with the community’s property tax analyst to review property taxes on an annual basis.
  • Reviewing yearly financials with the owner’s preferred tax accountant to ensure correct financials for tax return completion.
